tomorrow is the last day of school and this is gonna be my last blog post cause I really don't want to post on friday. this past school year had it's ups and downs. I met new friends and lost friends and gotten in trouble more than a few times but that's what happenes in life. sometimes the world is fun and sometimes it's not. I learned that u should treat people the way they treat you not the way you would want to be treated because there are three people you will meet in your life: ones who helped u in hard to times ones who left u in hard times and ones who put u in hard times.  I'm looking foward for the summer and next year too. I'm gonna miss being on the joberts team. with all the crazy things we do. -sammmmyg

Literacy Essay

Have you ever been overconfident about things? Have you ever thought you are better than other kids at sports or video games? Have you ever felt you were more popular than people you know? In the story "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" by Jeff Kinney Greg find himself thinking he is better than everyone else. 

Greg thinks he's better at their madeup game. In their made-up game, where you throw a ball to the person in the big wheel. He says that he is better than Rowley at the game but he says that Rowley is better at riding than throwing so he should be the rider. This proves my claim because he is being over confident because he is saying he is better at Rowley, When actually Rowley is  quite better at throwing.

Greg thinks he is better at winnin award than Rowley. When He looks in his brother’s old yearbook he realizes that he could win a lot of popular awards like class clown, most likely to succeed, and best-dressed. He realizes that he thinks he is better than everyone by saying "I could win all of these!" This proves my claim because he is saying he is funnier and most likely to suceed and best dressed when in fact he isn't any if those.

Greg thinks he is better at Rowley at Video games. When they start playing there favorite game, Twisted Wizard, He says "I am better so I should play first, you second." This proves my claim because he is being over confident by saying he is better even though Rowley is better. 

So my claim is that Greg Heffley is overconfident. He thinks he is better than everyone at stuff even though he really isn't.

I watched a video today on how to jump higher. the video can help get your vertical higher buy 5 inches. I was amazed by this and I went outside to try it after I finished watching the video. on my net I can hang on to the rim with one hand so I wanted to see if I can do it with two. so the first time a jumped I got preety high with one hand so I tried two the next time. I taped it with two but couldn't hang on. so I tried once more and sure enough I got both two hand on but the Tim cracked and broke.  I couldn't believe I could break a official nba backboard with only 75 pounds!
